THE HISTORY OF APPLE PIE PREMIER NEW TRACK!

final

Though they appeal to different senses, apple pie and Dinosaur Jr.are both versions of "American comfort food," so I guess London five-piece the History of Apple Pie's name isn't that goofy in terms of indicating what they have a firm grip on. The fuzz-swaddled guitars at the beginning of "Glitch" are familiar enough that you expect a bedheaded dude to mutter along with them-- but the sweetness of Stephanie Min’s vocals cut right through the murk and add a much-needed contrast that pulls you towards "Glitch"’s jangle-pop center, as opposed to the thicket of influences on the outside.
